Discover our latest initiative for raising awareness about a healthy work environment and DIH.

A recent study of the industry revealed that despite a strong sense of professional pride, certain situations of discrimination, intimidation, and harassment (DIH) are still being experienced or are common on construction sites.

In the context of a labour shortage, with many women and people who have recently joined the industry leaving their jobs after a few years, the work environment represents an important issue for the industry. It has a decisive impact on wellbeing, motivation, and performance.

Given that a high proportion of workers have stated that they have been a victim of or witness to at least one DIH situation, this campaign takes concrete action to foster a healthy work environment, support job retention, and ensure greater diversity in the industry.

Through various actions and content, this campaign aims to create a better understanding of the impacts of certain behaviours, words, and gestures; everyone’s rights; and the resources available.

The objective is to open discussion and share real situations, in order to foster work environments that are more respectful for everyone.

Victim or witness: Does it concern me?

Yes. Whether you are directly affected by or witness to a situation, you have an important role to play. Reporting or discussing a DIH situation can help to prevent escalation and maintain a respectful work environment for everyone.
